With all the color from the books and accessories the white background of the wallpaper works beautifully. The letters most definitely stand out in the sea of color. It’s no secret that orange is my favourite colour, so I believe this beauty was just waiting on us to come and get her. I am so thrilled that hadn’t  purchased the Neo yet because the Stacey(my name for this beauty) is waaaay better(sorry DWR). The fabric is so luxurious,  and  most importantly it is child friendly aka spot resistant. It goes without saying that it is super comfortable and perfect for lounging. “Real” Books vs. the Kindle

I was telling one of them that I was going to see if Barnes and Noble has them. I asked one coworker where she purchased hers and she said she just ordered it on her Kindle and I said, “O.K”. The other promptly chimed in and said “ I read all of mine (Hunger Game Series) on my Kindle. Then she proceeded to say, “Why would you want to hold over a thousand page book in your hands?” I happen to love the balancing act that comes with reading a book that is thicker and bigger than my hands; it gives me a geek high that I embrace<img alt="Smile" class="wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/-JStIam-Bgo0/T2k-Ja5VO1I/AAAAAAAACwg/j9f26rILXhA/wlEmoticon-smile%25255B2%25255D.png?imgmax=800" style="border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none;" />. On the other hand, I understand the convenience that a Kindle provides. It's also no secret that i have a <a href="http://designaddictmom.tumblr.com/">design tumblr</a>. Well, yesterday i posted to my tumblr and took the day off from this one. That was a great idea!:-) I didn't even know that i had become a "<a href="http://designaddictmom.tumblr.com/">superstar</a>." My girl from <a href="http://cabbageroseblog.com/">Cabbage Rose </a>who has the greatest <a href="http://cabbageroseblog.com/">tumblr </a>was the one who sent me an email to tell what was going on. Adding height with books.

I grabbed it from my <a href="http://designaddictmom.tumblr.com/">tumblr</a> to share today because it oozes inspiration and creativity.  I love the display board(i’m not sure what material it’s made from though), the whimsical lamp and i adore the rustic element of the table against the ruffles of the fabric. However, what really caught my eye is the use of the books as a stand for the lamp. Doing this not only elevates the lamp to add balance, but it also brings your eyes up. I actually do this all the time in my own home. The second picture shows my use of magazines as a stand for the lamp in my very small office:-). This is a closet in my home that i converted into an office a few years ago.
