The placement of the bed right now is at its optimal spot(headboard in the East position). Is there a <br />recommended place for that in the bedroom?</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></div><div align="center"><span style="background-color: #8fb08c;"><b>Jayme’s Response</b>:</span> <span style="font-size: small;">If you want to boost romance in your life, it's important to energize the <br />Love Center, which is the back right corner of your bedroom (from the <br />standpoint of the entrance of the room). So, in your bedroom, as you stand <br />looking at the bed, it will be under the right window. You can create a love <br />area on the right nightstand if you wish. In my book "<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Feng-Shui-Your-Life-Edition/dp/1402797125/ref=dp_ob_ti" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #dd8484;">Feng Shui Your Life</span></b></a>," <br />there are loads of ideas to put in your Love Center. I would definitely have <br />a living plant or live flowers, a symbol of love (a photo of you and your <br />hubby, a quote about love, a rose-quartz heart) and a pair of pink or red <br />candles. The most important area to hang art is directly <br />opposite your bed. It will be the last image you see before going to sleep <br />and the first you see when you wake. It sets the tone for your dreams and <br />for the beginning of your day. They should engender feeling of inspiration, <br />gratitude and love. Make sure both you and your husband love the artwork and <br />choose it together. You can also hang "manifestation art," which are images <br />of places you'd like to go or things you want to experience together. Let's <br />say you'd like to go to Italy, you could hang an image of the area of Italy <br />you dream about. This way, you both can envision being there together. It <br />can also be an image of a place you've already been to and had a wonderful <br />time. Also, in feng shui, we suggest removing any photos of your <br />children or parents. It should be a romantic sanctuary for you and your <br />husband and the focus is on the relationship. You can place photos of the <br />kids everywhere else in the house. Also, add the colors of red and pink to <br />energize romance. I'm glad you are removing the television. When it's time <br />to be alone, it's better to connect romantically without the distraction of <br />the TV (smartphones and Ipads too)! However,  I saw this room(above) and now I am really liking the stream lined look of the barely there window coverings. Anyway, I fell in love with this wallpaper and although I had decided against papering the headboard wall in our Master bedroom because of the existing windows, I changed my mind. After much studying of the room and it’s view from other spaces, I kept returning to that wall as the one to be featured. I recently had the chance to help a couple turn their plain master bedroom into one that was warm and not so bare, now I must say it wasn’t as easy as I thought. Because they travel so much they’re able to meet lots of people and acquire a lot of photos from their travels so it was only fitting to have a place for their friends and family when they come to visit.  My clients called me to do their guest room for them because they wanted to finally have a place for their guest and all their beautiful photos they take on their travels. Now as you all may know in most of my designs I’m always challenged to use something or use a color the homeowner already chosen and this room was no different. My challenge this time was the paint color the homeowner chose himself and his wife was dead set against but guesses what? This was no challenge at all for me because I was so happy he made the choice because I didn’t have to be blamed for it! “hmmm isn’t hat selfish of me” but no really I loved the color from the first time I laid eyes on it. This couple is beautiful in every way and they even have good taste but an odd space was giving them trouble. <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">(Now you know we can’t have that).</b> <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Right!</b> Well this sweet couple called me for help to get to the root of what was making their room look so awkward and I have to tell you I was a little scared but I wasn’t backing down from any decorating challenge so I ran over and immediately I was able to point out what the issue was. I said “it’s that tricky wall right there or should I say window” well my motto has always been </span><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">If you can’t get rid of something or can’t ignore it make it a focal point. A focal point makes it something to look at. </span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">When considering ideas how to decorate you must always think about what you’re trying to accomplish. In my case I was trying to make the window go away because of its awkwardness which made it a tricky wall.
